Food & Drink

We are looking forward to sharing an afternoon tea of sandwiches, scones and other cakes with everyone at the village hall during our reception. However, we would welcome any contributions of yummy eats (sweet or savoury) towards this feast! We will have lashings of tea and coffee on tap, some fizz for the toasts and a little wine and beer for everyone to enjoy. We will have plenty of glasses available, but would advise you might want to bring some of your preferred tipple with you to ensure you have what you would like on tap.
We would advise everyone to have some lunch before joining us at 1.30pm for the bus to the castle as we won't be eating tea until around 4.30 / 5pm on the day, and we all know that wedding fun can work up quite an appetite. Drinks will be served at the castle, after the ceremony, with non-alcoholic alternatives available.
Throughout the afternoon and evening, our local, The Swan, which is just over the road from the village hall, are happy for drinks to be purchased and taken back to the venue. They also serve a selection of very reasonably priced hot food throughout the day, should anyone wish to take advantage of this:
